One thing does not make any sense: If they have reduced the backlog so much, why can't they resume I 140 premium processing?
AILA is finally tired of asking this question, but it simply does not fit the equation that thye have not yet started premium processing (considering their love for money:p)

I also had submitted with my I-94 attached. I forgot to remove it. It was stapled and I got it back with my old passport. So dont worry.

I have heard lawyers saying in this forum itself that it can be a problem if the previous employer revokes the approved I-140, irrespective whether it was fraud or not. I don't have the links saved for that discussion, otherwise I would have pasted it.
But are you very sure about point 'C' that what ever ur lawyer said is correct and final ?

Hi all,
I'm currently on H1B. My wife is on a L1 visa and her company just applied for her I140/I765/I485 concurrent (under EB1). Based on the previous post, it seems that if my wife gets approved for her GC, I can piggy back anytime since we were married before she got her GC.
My question is with regards to the PD if she got approved, do I get the Priority Date for EB1 (meaning little wait) or so I need to wait months/years of delay ? Should I just instead apply for I485 after her I140 is approved so that we get our GC together. What would be the risk in case something wrong happen to her application ? would I lose my H1b? I would like to hold on to my H1B unless I'm sure I can get my GC. My H1b is not IT related so I'm not that confident to find another one in case I lose my H1b. My company is willing to sponsor my greencard, but we thought of trying the EB1 first as it is much much faster.

We are targeting to get a 1000 letters signed and sent to the White House from our group. I have H1B visa stamp on passport with my old employer and I have AP, EAD and H1 approval with my new employer. I am planning to travel to India in December. If I use AP on my way back, does that annul my H1 approval with new employer. Pl advise.

I changed my adress after filing I-485 and I-765, thru online using AR11 form
Its prety easy and we got our new EAD cards to new adress.

Receipt notice Aug 29
Change the adress online on Aug 30.
Recvd conformation notice from USCIS on sep 6th. saying adress changed sucessfully. To the new adress.
Recvd EAD cards to new adress on SEP 10th.

Remember you are bonded labor if you are on H1B or Work Permit. They will use you & your illegal brothers every election year and this is one of those years ..... everything is chatter until something heppens.

I recently got my 485 approved and got my card too. My wife's case is bit complicated.
I would appreciate if someone can throw light on this.
She applied her 485 in August 2007. Her 485 was seperately filed with her company since I was physically not present in US at that time in order to apply her as my dependent through my primary 485.
I applied for my 485 in Oct 2007 when I came back to US. I did not add her as dependent since she already applied for her 485.
Later in 2008 ( , my lawyer sent a letter to USCIS requesting them to link her 485 as my dependent. Now after my 485 is approved, my lawyer checked with USCIS whether her case is linked to mine. Lawyer was informed that the case is indeed linked and that her 485 will be approved anytime.
But now, my wife;s position in her company is not that good as there are layoffs happening. If God forbid she gets layed off from her current h1b status, will she be in status? can she continnue to stay in US without working?

No you cant do that. One should not leave country when 485 pending. Once you laid off from sponsor you can not do counsural processing also. Travelling in AP should be for a mimimum period. It will be big mistake, if you leave country without job offer. No one knows when they issue RFE for employment verification during your 485 pending period. If you do not have job when they issue RFE, thats it. Bottomline is, it is better to be employed during 485 pending and stay in the country to reply any RFE.
