FYI...
My attorney sent documents to NSC on July 2nd 10.30 AM
Transferred from NS --> TSC with receipt date Aug 29'th.
My cheques were cashed on Aug 29th. Have not received the receipt numbers physically by psotal mail.
My question to you is " Will TSC send the receipt number documnets directly to me or to my Attorney?"

I am happy to announce that I have received the EAD cards today (just like rc0878 had suggested). I should not have doubted the encouragement and estimation of the experience here.
So, I received the EAD cards dated Sept 18th, expiry is one year from the issue date i.e. Sept 17th, 2008 (unlike someone else's cards which were valid for only 3 months).
Let me know if someone wants to ask any other information.

Don't make stupid statements like this. It goes to show your intelligence and that you are an instigator. With statements like that you will alienate EB3 more. BTW, I contributed to DC advocacy and many other EB3s also did the same. That money apparently seemed to have have helped EB2 and not EB3.
Regarding you comment on action, many IV leaders are EB3.
It's more of a motivation to get up and do something. How much was collected? I know many ppl contributed but the contribution was very less...so u shut up ur hole or whatever language u prefer to use at ur home. My point was to do rather than posting. If u didn't get that, sorry.

With this issue of priority date taking a back seat to notice date when dates are current :
While it is frustrating to the people with older priority dates (including me); it could very well be that USCIS is approving people with later priority dates sooner because its simply easier for them to do so. I really hope that this trend does not last beyond Aug-Sep. And in October, for EB2 - I, there is still a good likelihood that for people with priority dates < 2004, dates may still be current. So they can very well be approved from Oct onwards. So if I have to sacrifice a few months of waiting time to make sure visa numbers dont go wasted. I am prepared to do so.
Also it is very likely that people with older priority dates have a longer history in the US. So USCIS might need more time correlating all entry/exit time stamps, making sure we were in status all this while; but a person with 2006 priority date might have entered the US in 2005 & so less history to check.
Also there is the case where later priority dates were using PERM. since PERM was made to be less abusive than the previous LC process, maybe they take less time cross checking LC data.

If that were to be the case then EBROW should never have been retrogressed. E3ROW has been retrogressed for the last 20 months now.

as gc28262 has indicated, that proper analysis and the correct interpretation of the law is needed to change such matters. Unless, EB3 people come out of the lethargic content/self pity and start working on the issues as if their life depended on it (it does) - just writing to the senators and representatives will not help. The legislative offices is not going to do the analysis (in the time that matters to us) and address it to the USCIS. However, if we do the ground work and then approach them, we may have a better chance of succeeding.
Whenever EB3 asks for writing to senators and congressmen, EB2 folks will discourage, but when Eb2 wants to write to the same group everyone encourages.
Why is this pathetic response to a Eb3 guy.
Please remember prior to BackLog days there was not much difference in time span for getting a GC and Employers wanted to cut back on paper process and used to file in EB3 only.

If you expect the IV core to dedicate it's time JUST for a particular secction of people, then you need to justify that demand.
In your opinion, EB3 is a LOWLY category as compared to EB2. So it is not enough that Nurses feed from it and just about EVERYONE else feeds from it. To top it off, overflow from eb1 goes FIRST to eb2 and then (and almost NEVER) to eb3. SO Eb2 gets a fair chunk of the greed cards, and over and above that you now want the IV core to further drop everything else and help JUST eb2 out? And who should make this demand? None other than someone who is trying to BREAK the community up into Eb2 vs Eb3.

They are requiring them to transfer from L1 to H1 status for L1 extensions. This will also mean an opportunity for them to move on to better paying companies and green card sponsoring companies, when they get a H1B status. There is no reason people who are here from 1999, and still does not have a GC, for a person who is EB2- 2006 why USCIS give priority? Let EB2 and Eb3 category move hand in hand they already gave some relief to EB2, now they should move EB-3, people are waiting whose priroty dates are Year 2002, but if a EB-2 just came on 2007 gets Green Card that is unfair, One year gap is ok between Eb-2 & EB-3 but not 5 years.
I personally believe there are limitations for IV or any other organisation to influence the Political and Economic force that are existing in this world nowadays. Even if we lobby even if we talk, even if we gather, if those kind of forces are not benefitted in the form of votes(for power)(lobbying economically also depends on the personality of that person who you want to influence) nothing solid is going to happen. That is the TRUTH. But TRUTH sometimes is undigestable and it hurts a lot, and especially people who is having an agenda it hurts a lot! As always appreciate the work and sacrifices IV is doing for the immigrant community. Due to family and Work commitments could not involve actively.

Actually everyone should get copy of the receipts from DOL or INS whenever company received and also they should communicate to the lawyer every 3 months to get the status. Atleast the errors due to company or Lawyers should be avoided. One may not have much control after it goes to INS or DOL but persons make sure that everything filed properly. Some lawyers promtly send copies of all the communications both inbound and outbound. That will give gc applicants chance to review the various process and they can try to correct if any discrepancy or errors

When my attorney filed my labor and we didn�t hear on it for 3 months, my Attorney called up the local labor dept. they told him that the person who used to do foreign labor certs met with an accident and is on extended leave, It took 13 months for the local office, by that time BECs were born, retrogression�..
