Hi Guys, if you filled between July3rd to July15th please update here.
I have sent my application on July5th to NSC. It is received by NSC at July6th.Did any one got receipts in 5th or 6th filer..
I didn't see much of filed between july'3nd through july '14th filings in this forum.

I called and talked to a level 2 officer and she could not find us in the system.
Filed on July 19th. 140 approved from NSC in June 2006. NSC is receipting August 2nd applications. Very frustrationg and I dont know how long it will take.

Correct me If I am wrong
out of 45K members let's assume 22.5 K are EB2 and 22.5 K are EB3.
Even If 11.25K (EB2)+11.25K (EB3) = 22.5 K (Total) contributes $25 Each Problems gets solved ... but the catch is ....
Even 11.25 K EB2 members are not contributing because they don't have to as their problem is solved
Even 11.25 K EB3 members are not contributing because they are not sure even with this contribution their problems gets solved.
Many people are saying that EB3 members are not contributing that's why you are lagging etc...
EB3 Members who contributed are feeling the pain because even after contribution they are not getting the results and EB2 members who didn't contributed are getting the results...
I think I am now quite clear about the cause of all our backlogs :D. You said it dude, people who see their issues resolved are less likely to contribute. I guess by the same argument it is safe to assume if EB3 were getting approved faster, they would be contributing even less, as are EB2 right now, right?
Whoever said EB3 is lagging behind because they are not contributing is a fool. We all are lagging behind because we all are not contributing enough. None of the IV efforts resulted in only faster EB2 movement. So it is foolish to think that IV contributions are going towards only clearing EB2 cases. IV efforts resulted in greater transparency for all of us. If we don't unite and keep bickering this way, you know where we all end up.

The way i understand this, not all companies are bound by the EOE laws.
Certain conditions have to be met to be considered an EOE.
Not every employer is an equal opp employer, so those guys can hire whoever they want.
Besides hiring folks on h1b, etc could add to costs for employers. So they choose not to employ such folks.

same way you prove that in the case of I-140... by writing up letters exlaining job duties... and showing offer letter, pay stubs, company tax returns and/or quarterly tax receipts, client contracts... etc etc etc...

I have mailed my I-485/EAD/I-131 on July 26th and same were received at NSC on July 27th. I did get the receipt numbers for all the same yesterday. The receipt date is Aug 27th, 2007. I did have an TSC I140.

Everybody has been waiting for his/her green card and congratulations to all those who has got their GC. On the other hand it is really unfair and to some extent unethical on the part of USICS not follow a fair system.
There are several people in 2004, 2005 who have been paitently waiting for their turn only to see that people behind them getting approved.
Several of us have writtent to Ombudsman, Director but of no avail.
Not sure what else can be done? Any Idea? Do we have any liaison with AILA who can take up this matter.
Didn't someone took up the EB3->EB2 porting issue already; can't this issue be clubed along with it? ek teer se do shikar!!

This is pathetic ... And it's time for most of you to seriously think about converting to EB2. Now I have no idea how difficult or immpossible this would be, as I had always been EB2, but their are several threads on this forum that can assist you. I strongly suggest you to seriously start researching your way out of this mess. I wan't expecting EB2 to stay beyond 05, but it is going to be like that for another month. Are all the 2004 EB2-I applicants exhausted? ... I don't know, but I know EB3 just keeps on retrogressing.
If this abyss continues, think about it ... you will always remain struck where you had been for past so many years. This is no life.
Ask yourselves ... how can I convert to EB2. Take control!
